Betting Markets/Available Sports – 5/5
This is another area where Unibet excels in our opinion. Unibet has a vast range of different sports to choose from – and a great selection of betting markets as well. In researching this Unibet review we were able to see just what this bookmaker has to offer – and it is impressive.
All the big Aussie sports and leagues are well represented – and the range of Australian horse racing markets is just about unbeatable. But Unibet cover sport on a global scale and whether it is the English Premier League or the Greek volleyball league they have you covered.
Unibet Odds – 4/5
Finding the value in the betting markets is the key to online sports betting and most bookmakers will have very similar odds. Unibet are generally fairly competitive with their range of odds – although seem to have very good prices for horse racing.
This Unibet review did find that they have lower than average bookmaker margins so that is another plus point for customer account holders.
Streaming on Unibet – 4/5
Live streaming at Unibet goes under the name of Unibet TV and offers a huge variety of events to watch on the site. Customers will only need to have a positive balance in their account – or have made a bet in the previous 24 hours – to choose from around 30,000 events each year.
Unibet has dealt with a number of leagues around the world so it really is top level action that is offered on the site – including all NBA games.
Unibet Mobile App – 4/5
Betting on a mobile phone or tablet device is fast becoming the most popular way of gambling and all the best online betting sites have a dedicated app that can be downloaded onto both iOS and Android devices.
The Unibet mobile app is fully functional and offers all the same features as the desktop version of the site. You can even choose from events in the Unibet TV schedule and watch them live on your phone.
Unibet Payment Options – 3/5
This is the section that Unibet scores lowest in our review and that is really only because – compared to some of its competitors – Unibet do not have a very extensive choice of payment methods.
It is not that Unibet offers a poor banking service but if you want to deposit funds into your customer account you can only use the following options:
- Visa and MasterCard debit cards
- POLi
- BPay
- Bank deposit
Putting money in – and taking money out of – your Unibet account is very straightforward however, it is just that this narrow choice of payment options may not be ideal for some potential customers.
Customer Care – 5/5
Unibet’s customer service team are available seven days a week and can be reached via a number of different ways.
- Freephone number
- Post
- Social media channels – especially Twitter
Unibet: Our Verdict – 4.5/5
Unibet has to be one of the best online sports betting companies in Australia. From the attractive markets offer to the array of live sports events available through the live streaming feature, Unibet is certainly well worth checking out.
